The details

The Traffic and Licensing Services Centre in Fujairah has received a seven-star classification in the UAE Government's latest service quality assessment.

The results were announced on 4 November 2026.

According to Emirates News Agency, this is the first service channel to achieve seven stars since the Global Star Rating System for Services was introduced in 2011.

The sixth assessment cycle evaluated 179 service channels across 27 federal government entities.

The assessment included physical service centres, digital channels and contact centres.

Two other service channels received six-star classifications.

These were the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs in Fujairah and a customer service centre operated by the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security in Ras Al Khaimah.

The latest assessment also recorded improvements in government service performance.

Contact centres showed a 13% improvement, while physical service centres improved by 5% and digital channels by 4%.

The system assesses operational efficiency, customer experience and the quality of service delivery.

For residents, the ratings provide an indication of the standards achieved by government service channels.

They do not mean every transaction at a particular centre will take the same amount of time, nor do they remove the need to verify appointment and documentation requirements.
