British Airways is flying between Dubai and London Heathrow again after an eight-month suspension. The National confirms that flight BA105 arrived at Dubai International Airport on Wednesday morning, with BA104 departing for London later that day. The airline is initially restoring one daily service in each direction, giving travellers another option for the winter season.
The details
British Airways resumed flights between London Heathrow and Dubai International Airport on 4 November 2026, restoring an important travel connection after an eight-month suspension.
The National reported that flight BA105 departed Heathrow on Tuesday evening and arrived in Dubai at 7.33am local time on Wednesday.
The return flight, BA104, departed Dubai at 9.45am.
The airline is initially operating one daily service in each direction during the winter season.
British Airways plans to increase the frequency to two daily services during summer 2027, subject to its future operating arrangements.
The resumption restores another direct option for passengers travelling between the UAE and the United Kingdom.
It may be particularly relevant to families, business travellers and residents planning winter holidays or visits to the UK.
The service had been suspended for approximately eight months amid disruption caused by the conflict in the Middle East.
Although this route has resumed, other international airlines continue to maintain restrictions or suspensions affecting some UAE services.
Passengers should therefore verify the operating airline and exact flight status when arranging connecting journeys.
The return of British Airways does not establish that all international routes or services affected by the disruption have resumed.
Airfares, seat availability and flight times should be checked when booking.
