The details

UAE travellers continue to face flight cancellations and delays on Monday, 2 November, as regional security concerns disrupt airline schedules.

Etihad Airways has cancelled services between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh and Dammam through Thursday, 5 November. Four Jeddah services, EY601, EY602, EY603 and EY604, are also affected during the announced period.

flydubai reported cancellations on 2 November involving Dammam, Riyadh, Abha and Tabuk, although some other Saudi services were still operating or awaiting updated departure information.

Air Arabia also listed cancellations from Sharjah and Abu Dhabi. Affected destinations included Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Egypt and several international routes.

Separately, Zayed International Airport reported delays to certain arriving flights, while Gulf News reported no disruption to departures in its morning snapshot.

The operational situation can change throughout the day. Passengers should distinguish between a cancelled flight, a delayed flight and a service for which current status information is unavailable.

Travellers should confirm their flight number and booking directly with the airline, rather than relying on a route-level announcement or an older itinerary.
