The details
The Sheikh Zayed Festival has reopened in Al Wathba for its 2026–2027 season, offering families a wide range of cultural activities, international food, entertainment and traditional Emirati experiences.
The festival began on 30 October and, according to its current official visitor information, will continue until 13 March 2027.
General admission costs Dh10 per person.
Entry is free for children under three, visitors aged 60 and above, and People of Determination.
The festival opens at 4pm daily. It closes at midnight from Sunday to Thursday and at 1am on Fridays and Saturdays.
This year's attractions include virtual reality-enhanced rides at Wonderland, the Al Wathba Floating Market, the Rare Species Reserve and cultural pavilions representing more than 15 countries and regions.
Traditional Emirati experiences remain central to the programme, with heritage demonstrations, handicrafts and performances.
Special events and celebrations will take place throughout the season.
Additional charges apply to some rides and attractions, so visitors should distinguish between the Dh10 entry ticket and paid activities inside the venue.
