Abu Dhabi is developing a Biological Health Age model that combines clinical biomarkers with wearable-health data to generate more personalised health insights.
The details
The Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with Ultrahuman Healthcare to develop and validate a Biological Health Age model. The proposed model will combine clinical biomarker data with wearable-health data to generate more personalised insights into cardiovascular health, sleep, metabolism and recovery.
The initiative is framed as part of Abu Dhabi’s preventive-health agenda. It aims to help people understand factors that influence long-term health and ageing, rather than waiting until illness appears before intervention.
The announcement concerns development and validation, not the launch of a public service available to every resident. Any future use will depend on validation, governance, data-protection arrangements and the channels through which the model is made available.
