Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority completed road upgrades on Al Marabea’ Street between the Al Khail Road exit and Al Asayel Street in August.

The work forms part of RTA’s continuing programme to improve road infrastructure in response to urban expansion and rising traffic demand. The authority said the upgrades would improve road capacity and traffic flow in the surrounding area.

Al Marabea’ Street serves residential and development areas connected to Al Khail Road and Al Asayel Street. The improvement is relevant to drivers travelling between nearby communities, employment areas and major road corridors.

The announcement confirms completion of the upgrade but does not indicate that all congestion in the wider area will be eliminated. Traffic conditions will continue to depend on demand, construction activity and the performance of nearby intersections.
