The details

Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority opened a 700-metre, four-lane bridge at the intersection of Al Qudra Road and Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Street on 9 August.

The bridge has capacity for approximately 6,000 vehicles per hour and serves traffic travelling along Al Qudra Road towards Al Qudra City. RTA said the completed configuration would improve movement through the intersection and prepare the area for additional ramps and service roads.

The wider Al Qudra Road development project is intended to increase capacity between Emirates Road, Al Qudra City, Arabian Ranches, Dubai Studio City, Motor City, DAMAC Hills and other residential and development areas.

The project serves communities with more than 400,000 residents and visitors. Further bridge and ramp works were scheduled for the fourth quarter of 2026.
